Wrens Fledge

Just a few days again so comfortable and dependent. Now they are out of the next and are having a hard time figuring out how to get out from under the deck. They have tried out all the furniture, been in all the plants, in all the windows, climbed the walls and on the shelves. Mom and Dad were trying so hard to get them out in the open, one went right away. I don't know how long it took the other two, I stopped watching.

Baby Bluebird Saved

We saved a baby that fell from a nest on Memorial Day in May and now she is thriving. We have some great pics from 2 days old and up.

Here is her eating the meal worms from the dish hanger.

Find the Wren's Nest

The wrens have built a nest in the flower arrangement before but I had never gotten any pictures of them here. The babies are hard to see. They are tucked way in the back against the house. The adult wren is very quick at getting in to the babies with a bug and then off to get another.
